Gabrielle Richens - Biography & Career
Gabrielle Richens was born in Kent, England, on the 15th of September 1974. Her exotic looks can be attributed to her parents, as her mother is English and her father is South African. She left Kent early on, ditching high school to pursue a modeling career. Gabrielle was on her own by age 14, when her career took off in Spain. Gabrielle started her career as a successful model with Elite Models appearing in worldwide campaigns for Diesel, Virgin Atlantic and Pepsi, and taking to the catwalk in London, Paris, Milan and New York. She then moved to Australia where she built a successful career as a television presenter. The English beauty quickly became a major celebrity and pin-up appearing on the cover of all the magazines, and was voted 'Third Sexiest Woman in the Planet' by FHM. Gabrielle then returned to England in 2001 to present the action packed Channel 5 game show 'The Desert Forges'. She has continued to build a successul TV career presenting '3001: A Sex Oddity' on Bravo,a documentary series looking at sex in the future; and guest presenting ITV1's (UK) dating show 'Dial A Date'. Gabrielle has also tried her hand at acting making her debut with special guest appearances in the Sky One TV drama 'Mile High', and the BAFTA nominated Paul Whitehouse BBC series 'Happiness', and at radio presenting regularly hosting 'The Late Show' on Virgin Radio. Gabrielle continues to model and continues to be the face of 'Gorgeous' (a best selling lingerie line for women with curves at Debenhams). She has also recently modelled for Speedo, Next, George @ Asda, and taken to the catwalk for Scott Henshall at London Fashion Week. Gabrille now spends her time betweeen England and Australia (where she has just taken part in 'Dancing With The Stars' - the Australian version of 'Strictly Come Dancing').
